Pet Waste Reminder

6/4/24

Please review this important reminder to help keep our community clean and enjoyable for everyone.

It's important to remember that as a responsible pet owner, you have a duty to clean up after your furry friend when they do their business in ALL public areas. Not only is it courteous to your neighbors, but it also helps maintain a clean and healthy environment for all residents and visitors. Not only does dog waste smell and look bad, it can be a health hazard for you, your neighbors, and their pets, too.

Here are a few quick tips to ensure you're taking care of this important task:

  1. Dispose of it properly: Tie the bag securely and place it in a nearby trash bin or designated dog waste disposal station. Do not leave it on the ground.
  2. Always carry poop bags: Make sure you have an adequate supply of poop bags with you whenever you take your dog for a walk.
  3. Be prepared: Keep some spare bags in your car or by your front door to avoid any last-minute panics.
  4. Scoop it up: Whenever your dog does their business, scoop it up carefully, using a bag as a barrier between your hand and the waste.
  5. Natural and Native Areas: Please remember that dog waste must be picked up in our natural and native grass areas as well.

Please also remember that pets must be kept on a leash throughout the community. Thank you for being a responsible pet owner, and for helping to make our community a better place.
